‘House Of Clocks’ opens with a jazzy, lo-fi introduction that unfolds into a twisting piece of semi-experimental hip-hop. For the remainder of the tune, the lo-fi line from the introduction is merged with bright piano, explosive brass and a confident vocal delivery that shows off the collaborative talents of Abhi The Nomad and Harrison Sands. The projects main man states that “House of Clocks is about owning the consequences for your actions, as humans. It’s not anti-religion so much as a recognition that only we as people can save ourselves, and stop destroying the planet. Plus, we’re running out of time to fix mistakes”.
